Therapeutic treatment at Jellinek Retreat comprises a wide range of recognized psychotherapeutic methods. Therapy is provided by psychiatrists and psychotherapists and takes place individually and in small groups. Our leading psychotherapeutic treatment method is cognitive behavioral therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy is based on the concept that thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and in turn influence each other. The goal of this therapy is to have the patient recognize his or her negative feelings and thoughts and to provide a consistent, positive attitude with the help of exercises. The therapy will be completed and supported with various innovative treatment methods, such as neurofeedback and mindfulness, depending on the personal treatment plan. It is possible - and even recommended - to involve one’s partner and/or family in the therapy. We have a separate family program, for which rooms are available at the Lodge Kura Hulanda.
