In addition, we have excellent cooperation with the local medical facilities. Based on the data from the assessment, we determine which medical treatment is respectively advisable. In the case of addiction problems, if necessary, treatment will start with detoxification. Pharmacotherapy can be brought into action for various purposes. For instance, medication can be used to lessen a patients craving for a substance, which decreases the chances of a relapse. In addition, medication - in combination with psychotherapy - is effective for psychological problems, such as depression.
